Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean complicated recipes, boring ingredients or spending hours preparing meals.
We're sharing some of the meals people on The Body Coach app enjoy and how they make the plan work for their families.
Gwen Jordan, 53, joined The Body Coach app in January 2025 to lose weight and improve her fitness. She was already familiar with Joe, having done his YouTube workouts since the COVID lockdowns.
“I love his enthusiasm for helping people keep fit and well,” says Gwen.
But it was the food on the app that took her by surprise.
“The food did surprise me. It’s extremely tasty and easy to prepare.”
Gwen usually cooks day by day, planning her meals around her weekly food shop.
“I plan my meals when I do the big shop and decide each day which I am going to cook. I do some prep for snacks and breakfast on Sundays.”
And it’s not just Gwen enjoying the recipes. Her partner and 15-year-old son cook them too.
“I couldn’t pick a favourite. As a family we love so many of them.”
Gwen says their eating habits have changed for the better, too.
“It’s not always perfect, but my family’s eating habits have improved so much. We rarely eat takeaway and eat home-cooked meals all the time. One of our favourite nights is homemade pizza Saturday.”
