Exercise 92 – Shoulder Girdle Adduction
Target Area(s): Rhomboids, Mid-trapezius, Posterior deltoid.
Muscles in the middle of the upper back between the shoulder blades. They’re
worked during chin-ups and other moves that bring the shoulder blades together.
Equipment: Incline bench and Hand weight
INSTRUCTION
Prone Raises:
• Lie forward on incline bench, arms extended down holding dumbbells with
thumbs positioned next to each other.
• Breathing in, raise elbows vertically until parallel with ground.
• Breathe out and lower arms.
• Maintain neutral position of head and neck at all times.
