Abdominals: (lower)
Exercise 35: Lower Leg Lifts

INSTRUCTION
• Lie on your back with legs raised in the air and slightly bent and hands placed under your buttocks – palms facing down.
• Place Lumbatube™ or half-rolled towel under neck for support, if necessary
• Maintaining a strong abdominal brace, activate the lower abdominal region and raise legs into the air without swinging legs or changing their length.
• Over time, with good abdominal contraction you will learn to relax the upper body and focus on solely activating the abdominal region.
Note: This exercise can also be performed on an exercise bench by holding end of bench with hands. A twist (corkscrew action) of the legs can also be added when raising once good core-strength is obtained.
